Once upon a time, CODA was Footwork Night Club – which was a smaller intimate venue with a family vibe, catering to the underground scene for the last 10 years. Many unforgettable nights and amazing sets were shared, but the time came where it needed to expand into something bigger. In early 2014, CODA was launched and since then has carried on the Footwork legacy, providing Torontonians with a top-of-the-line sound system, amazing artist bookings, and plenty of space on the dance floor.
Taking over the space formally known as The Annex Wreckroom, this venue throws parties primarily for fans of techno, house, tech-house, and everything in between, featuring guests such as Richie Hawtin, Blond:ish, Jay Lumen, Daniel Portman, and Toronto native Sydney Blu. They offer a full range of audio, lighting and video equipment to suit the many talents who play on their decks. All of their sound and lighting operations are managed in-house by qualified and experienced technicians.
