LA-based duo Louis Vivet effectively positioned their name as one of dance music’s fastest rising talents. The duo saw their debut cover of 90’s anthem, Save Tonight resonate with fans and fellow musicians alike, accumulating over 600,000 plays on Soundcloud since its release.
Its widespread circulation led to an official remix from multi-talented producer,
Nigel Good. Ever since, Louis Vivet has released a medley of original productions and remixes supported by
KCRW,
Gareth Emery’s Electric for Life Podcast, & more.
Released today, is a cover of the
Miike Snow classic
Silvia. More than just a remix, this endeavor is a full project. The original told a story that Louis Vivet has now expanded upon. This rendition includes an original vocal top line from
Jordan Humphrey that further illuminates Miike Snow’s musical narrative.
What truly differentiates this is the accompanying graphic novel, created by Louis Vivet member
Nicolas II. It’s an 8-page comic book, illustrating the narrative from start to finish. This, as well as numerous pieces of original artwork, have been picked up by
USC’s Roski School of Fine Arts.
