Nest

Nest opened its doors for the first time in May of 2015. This is the third rebranding of the space in recent years; this venue formally ran under the name Moskito+Bite, followed by RYZE. This latest iteration comes from BPM Festival’s Vito Tomasicchio and Phillip Anthony Pulitano teaming up with previous RYZE owner, Rob Oliverio.

The newly renovated, 13,000 sq ft space is split into two rooms: a nightclub, featuring a state-of-the-art DYNACORD sound system, and an adjoining restaurant called The Den, which offers tapas menu with late night hours. Two bars line the perimeter of the nightclub, decorated with exposed cord hanging lightbulbs and a giant disco ball overlooks the dance floor. The main stage is surrounded by woven wooden pieces in the shape of a nest. The DJ booth is situated within its confines, with an overlooking phoenix-like structure above.

Since its debut, Nest has hosted events for many talents, including Danny Tenaglia, Fehrplay, Deborah De Luca, Danny Howells, Len Faki, and Toronto’s own Saad Ayub.
