Why must all good things come to an end? Trance Unity is returning to Montreal in 2025 for it’s final edition. Billed as “One Last Dance”, it will take place early in the new year on February 22nd 2025 inside Ste Catherine Hall. “One Last Dance” will mark the ninth and final anniversary of Trance Unity, a series that broke out back in 2015 by local promoters Monkey Buzinezz.
This event is 18+ and, as per usual, security will be verifying ID and checking bags at the door. There is NO outside alcohol or food allowed inside the club, but don’t worry – “One Last Dance” is sponsored by Pabst and drinks will be served until 3AM. If you need a pick-me-up during the event, there will be some food options available to nibble on.
It’s rare to attend a festival with 14 hours of non-stop trance sets in an environment where NO pictures, NO videos and NO recorded sets are allowed! The banning of pictures, videos, and recorded sets allows attendees to stay in the moment, and for DJs to comfortably debut new tracks. Historically, it’s been common for DJs to drop tunes for the very first time at Trance Unity! You will be the first to hear the next big tune of 2025! Only the Monkey Buzinezz team photographer will be allowed to shoot pictures and videos to document the night. By attending, you are giving your consent to be in any of their promotional content.
Not surprisingly, the Early Bird tickets sold out very quickly. Tickets are currently available at Phase 1. The prices are as follows:
Phase 1: $112 CAD
Phase 2: $120 CAD
Phase 3 / Door: $130 CAD
VIP Upgrade: $40 CAD in addition to the ticket cost
At this time, there is no indication of what rooms anyone will be playing in. Heaven, Hell, and Earth have been the room themes for all previous years. Traditionally, the Heaven room hosts the more uplifting/euphoric side of trance, the Hell room is reserved for the darker side of trance, and the Earth room features non-stop classics. Each space will have its own colour theme and decor. Trance Unity’s three dancefloors makes it easy for all types of trance fans to find something that fits their taste.
The artists playing at the final edition of the Trance Unity Rave, in alphabetical order, are:
Alex M.O.R.P.H. returns for his second appearance at Trance Unity (and later in the night, he will make a bonus third appearance under his alias MRPHLNDR). The first time we saw him at TU was back in 2016 when he played the Heaven room. The legend has produced numerous iconic tunes over the years and his set is sure to be something special.
Aly & Fila is back again this year. The FSOE label heads have consistently produced stunning tracks and mind-blowing live sets. After their Heaven room set in 2024 delighted everyone in attendance, we are sure this will be another musical journey to remember.
Ferry Corsten‘s set at the 2020 edition of Trance Unity was 3 hours of trance bliss where he took us on a ride of his own releases including remixes, collaborations, and tracks from his aliases. Expect nothing short of this for 2025! As one of the biggest names in trance, we’re lucky to have him back for the final run of this festival.
Ferry Tayle had Heaven room closing duties in 2020 and to those that made it to the very end of the party, it was the icing on the cake. This year we hope to hear his on releases as well as music from his and Tonks‘ Mirage venture.
Indecent Noise really knows how to throw down a set, so make sure you give yourself some space to dance when he hits the decks. A master of the more energetic styles of trance, Indecent Noise always brings the heat and we welcome his debut to TU.
John O’Callaghan has graced the decks of the 2019 Trance Unity as well as 2023’s Road to Trance Unity pre-event. Always a fan favorite, JOC is a master of crafting interesting sets full of emotion and energy.
Mark Sherry, the legend you are! It wouldn’t be a complete Trance Unity party without him. This year will mark Mark Sherry’s 8th appearance of the series! Mark Sherry’s name has been synonymous with the Hell Room as per tradition. Prepare yourself for a journey into the depths of tech trance and beyond. Listen to his 2024 Trance Unity set here:
