TRACK REVIEW: Gorgon City’s “Unmissable” ft Zak Abel by Serafina Thoma

Virgin / EMI Records presents us with North London duo Gorgon City and their new single Unmissable featuring Zak Abel. The track has acoustic sounds with piano which blend almost too well with the soulful vocals of Abel tied with a classic house beat. Underneath those elements lies a deep house synth which gives it that groovin’ touch we’re all craving to hear. This track is a tease as we prepare for their debut album to be released in “late summer 2014,” according to their Facebook page.

Although they are touring right now in the USA and UK, we should expect Gorgon City to be on tour again soon after the release of their debut album. Keep an eye out for that album, because if it’s anything like this single, it’s going to make a big splash in the house scene.
