With A State of Trance (ASOT) 600 just around the corner, no tour is complete without a massive official anthem. The one and only five-time #1 DJ Mag winner Armin Van Buuren has finally premiered the official anthem ‘The Expedition’ for the ASOT 600 world tour which will be landing in twelve cities across the globe. The track was played in his radio show, A State Of Trance (episode 595), as the Tune of the Week, and after having W&W’s ‘Invasion’ as the ASOT 550 anthem, Armin invited trance giant Markus Schulz for a collaboration with ‘The Expedition’ as a result of their masterpiece.
The ‘Expedition’ is a perfect combination of a powerful melody followed by a mysterious break and a progressive build that are sure to get you moving on the dance floor.
Armin explained during his show that both DJ’s have been testing out this track in some of their recent sets and Markus had this to say about the crowd’s reaction: “the crowd went wild, and it’s kind of cool to see the crowd going crazy to a track that they don’t know what it is, they just feel it.”
Evidently, trance fans around the world feel it alright as the hash tag #TheExpedition was trending worldwide shortly after its premiere.
