Just coming off their massive tune Lift Off which remained in the overall Beatport Top10 for weeks, it is evident that Willem van Hanegem and Wardt van der Harst better known as W&W have no intentions of slowing down for the new year. The Dutch duo reunited with Ummet Ozcan to bring you what will surely be one of the biggest tracks of the year: The Code.
Both their distinct sounds combined created a perfect unique sound which straddles the line between progressive house and trance. With W&W’s high level energy sound mixed in with Ummet Ozcan’s progressive qualities you really feel those high impact synth lines fused with the forceful electro drop followed by deep heavy bass ultimately giving you that big room sound that we all throw our hands in the air for.
The Code was first premiered by Hardwell at the latest Amsterdam Dance Event and it was also featured in Armin van Buuren’s ASOT radio show on episode 597 which has left the EDM crowds buzzing over its release.
When I first heard this track I was immediately hooked to its persuasive electro hook which surprised me as I am naturally drawn to more progressive trance sounds. Whether it‘d be at a club, a festival, in your car, or on your headphones this big banger of a track will surely have you moving to its infectious unique sound.
