The bass-iest time of the year approaches as Bass Week draws near. This year, Destiny Events, Embrace, Electronic Nation, TorontoJungle.com and Canadian Music Fest are working together to bring you a stacked week of heavy face-welting bass. With one wristband, dedicated bass-heads gain free entry to five raging parties. Here’s a break down of each event and what the wristband will do for you:

First up on Thursday March 21st is STING (aka Marcus Visionary’s birthday bash) at a newer venue, Moskito. Marcus is one of Toronto’s favourite drum & bass DJ’s, and this party is guaranteed to get wild. With a Bass Week wristband, guests will gain entry for just $5. Those who aren’t hardcore enough to go hard all week must pay $10.

The very next evening on Friday March 22nd, we move to The Guvernment Mainroom for a night of drum & bass from one of the leading bass labels from the UK, Ram Records. Dance the night away at projek: RAM with the talented DJ’s on it label such as its founder Andy C, Delta Heavy, Loadstar and Rene Lavice. For those with wristbands, this party is free. For the rest of you ravers, advance tickets start at $25. This party is guaranteed to be an epic showcase of the rumbling power of Ram Records.

You better not be tired yet, because projek: HOSPITALITY will encompass the fast-paced talent of UK label Hospital Records. Are you ready for a raging night with the likes of High Contrast, Camo & Krooked, S.P.Y, Fred V & Grafix and Dynamite MC? Party goers with wristbands gain access to this jam for free, and tickets for everyone else start at $25. This DNB-packed party will be held at The Kool Haus.

Use your weekdays wisely and get some rest, because Dillon Francis is hitting The Hoxton on Thursday March 28th for his Wurld Turr. Opening for Dillon Francis, will be Oliver. Get ready for a rager full of this DJ’s signature beats and cat jokes. With a Bass Week wristband, you will receive line by-pass. Advance tickets start at $20. On the very same night, you can head to The Annex Wreckroom for some more drum & bass with Nicky Blackmarket vs. Marcus Visionary, Rick Toxic, and Mr. Brown. This event is free before 10:30PM with a Bass Week wristband.

On Friday March 29th, be prepared to be blown away by 100,000 watts of bone crushing dubstep. Bass Week presents the almighty Excision at The Kool Haus accompanied by Paper Diamond and Vaski. This is going to be a rager that all of you dedicated dub-heads cannot miss. You haven’t experienced bass until you’ve felt the power of PK Sound rumble through your body. This explosive event is free with a Bass Week wristband, and advance tickets start at $25.

Finally, we conclude this bass-filled week with World of Drum & Bass at The Annex Wreckroom featuring Grooverider, DJ SS and Skibadee. Come out and party with this line-up of DNB legends.
