Above & Beyond are bringing the biggest event in their calendar, the annual ‘Group Therapy‘ live radio broadcast, to their home town of London.

On Saturday, October 26, for one night only, the band will celebrate the radio show’s landmark 50th episode at an historic London venue. Following two sold-out Brixton Academy shows last year, ABGT050 will be Above & Beyond’s biggest ever show in the capital and their only major London appearance of 2013.

London joins a select list of cities that includes Moscow, Los Angeles, Beirut and Bangalore, each of which has hosted A&B’s prestigious live radio broadcast in recent years. To coincide with the ABGT050 announcement, Above & Beyond have released the after-movie from November’s ABGT001 celebration in Bangalore, India.

“The first ever ‘Trance Around The World’ show was broadcast from the Ministry Of Sound studios in London back in 2004 and ran until TATW450 in India, where we launched Group Therapy Radio 001. Choosing London means we get to celebrate the 50th episode of Group Therapy, as well as 500 radio shows to date, in the city where our radio journey first began.” – Above & Beyond.

Jono, Tony and Paavo will be joined in London by some of the scene’s most exciting talents for what will be the biggest Group Therapy event line up to date. With the radio show going out to over 30 million people each week and previous live broadcasts trending globally on Twitter, the ABGT050 broadcast from London will be a must-see for fans the world over.

Last year Above & Beyond were voted one of the greatest dance acts of all time by the readers of Mixmag, and are the only dance artists to have been twice voted ‘Essential Mix Of The Year‘ by Radio 1 listeners.
