ALBUM: Joachim Garraud’s Grizzly Giant EP out now

This month, Joachim Garraud launched a remix competition for his single, Grizzly Giant, out TODAY on his own newly-launched Los Angeles imprint, SPACE INVADER MUSIC, and the results that came back were astounding. Thousands of submissions later, the Space Invader boss picked not one but SIX winning remixes to release along with the single this morning – from remixers Hadoxx, Irockon & Kid Lokizys, Cidj, Dragonkiller, Guillaume Gautier and Facto Sonido.

Garraud states that this remix competition is only the first step in the new ethos of SPACE INVADER MUSIC, as the experienced French producer wishes to collaborate with the winners on a new special release on the label.

Garraud explains, “They started as remixers and now I want to give them the chance to be producers and release their own tracks on my label.”

Needless to say, Garraud expects big things coming from these green remixers and producers to build the SPACE INVADER MUSIC imprint into an ever-growing haven for new and undiscovered talent.
