It was Day 3 of Tomorrowland and I could only think of one thing “Where did the weekend go?!” It was time to get to my most anticipated sets, to purchase some TL gear, and to really take in the last few hours of what was left.

As we made our way over to the Main and the Smash The House Dirty Dutch Stages, I knew I was only going to head there with the crew to see where they were posted up so I could head over to the Café D’Anverse Inv. Minus Stage where Matador, Maceo Plex, Paco Osuna, Gaiser and of course Richie Hawtin would be. Luckily for me, we happened to pass by this magical Techno stage along the way.

There, at the Café D’Anverse Inv. Minus Stage the vibe was perfect. The sun was shining, the beats were pumping, people were grooving and the stage was along one of the many rivers, which surrounded Tomorrowland.

We arrived just as Paco Osuna had started his set. I was in Techno Heaven! With a huge smile on my face I wasn’t going anywhere! The crew decided to head over to the Main Stage, but I said I was staying, and so I did…

I ended up meeting a fantastic crew from New Zealand & London – who took me in with open arms. It’s really amazing, because you’re never really alone at a music festival. You can make new friends in an instant, and I love it.

My new friends also decided to head to Main Stage for the finale, but I continued as Richie Hawtin took the stage. I 2-stepped my way up to the front and centre with my massive Canadian Flag, and made sure Mr. Hawtin saw that Canada was in the house. His set was obviously amazing, and the perfect end to my Tomorrowland experience.

Back at the Artist Camp, I happened to run into Richie Hawtin after his set, and introduced myself – as we met last fall when the CONTROL Tour was in Ontario (London, Windsor and Toronto). The first thing he said was “Wait, were you the girl at the front with the Canadian Flag?” I guess it worked!

Tomorrowland truly was an amazing unforgettable experience, which I will never forget. I hope to return again one day. I’ll end this 3 day review with the famous words of Tomorrowland:

“YESTERDAY IS HISTORY, TODAY IS A GIFT, TOMORROW IS MYSTERY”
