PREVIEW: Amsterdam Dance Event 2013 kicks off today

With already a year gone by since the last Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the largest international club festival returns to the city of Amsterdam today. Similar to Winter Music Conference held in Miami, ADE is a festival, a conference, and a week full of special events surrounding electronic dance music. The event attracts as many as 2,000 artists and 300,000 attendees every year and this year’s line-up of parties is nothing short of incredible. Whether you’re into the big room progressive sound that is ripping up mainstream radio or the underground that is so underground no one’s even heard of it yet, you’ll find your fix at ADE.

And as one of the annual culminating events, DJ Mag will be revealing the results of their highly controversial Top 100 DJs poll on Saturday. The results will be announced at around 4:45PM(EST) following an opening set by Dyro.  The party will then continue with performances by Armin Van Buuren, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Steve Angello, Hardwell, Fedde Le Grand, Alesso, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and W&W.
