PREVIEW: Annual Halloween Rave, “Freakout!”, returns this Saturday by Montana McGiverin

Whether you’re looking for the spookiest and grimiest Halloween event, or simply just want to rinse out to some drum and bass, you should look no further than Freakout! Destiny, Electronic Nation and Embrace are bringing you the 10th Annual Halloween Rave called Freakout! this Saturday, October 26th. Expected to be one of Toronto’s best Halloween events, it is the only one with a full bass-driven lineup and is bound to give off the spooky Halloween feeling that everyone is craving.

Headlining the event for a second year is Rusko, a UK bass superstar who is known for both dubstep and drum and bass. The OWSLA signed artist is set to be the show stealer of the night, and everyone should be ready to dance their butts off!

The rest of the lineup includes Friction, 12th Planet, Roni Size, Bad Company UK and is hosted by Dynamite MC and MC Linguistics. The locals that will be supporting this event are Lush, NC-17, Hydee, Mr. Brown, Rick Toxic, Crash and Polaris.

With many other events going on around Toronto for Halloween, there’s no doubt that Freakout! will have some competition this weekend; but this event has a massive turn out each year, and it will a place where junglists, bassheads and ravers alike come out to dance within a more underground setting.

Tickets are still available here  This event will run from 10pm until about 5am and is held at Sound Academy at 11 Polson Street.
