TRACKS: Drop the Lime releases ‘new Gotham House’ single, “Watch & Do”, as alter-ego Curses

From the dark and dank underbelly of NYC, the pulsating bass of Curses has arisen. Label boss, DJ, producer, trend-setter; Luca Venezia(aka Drop The Lime) unveils a new single from his dark alter-ego Curses.

The new single, Watch & Do, moves away from the discerning electro sounds that Drop The Lime has championed in years past. Instead, Curses explores a new sound which Venezia has coined ‘New Gotham House’. Having already received support from heavy hitters such as Lee Foss, Skream, and Scuba ‘New Gotham House’ is certainly a new genre name worth noting.

Amidst bouncing basslines and perplexing synth play, this release showcases highly polished and somewhat minimal production. Watch & Do provides the perfect soundtrack for any dimly lit dancefloor or late night escapade. The track will be available on Beatport (via Ultra Music) on Oct. 25.
