PREVIEW: The Gift at The Guvernment 28-12-13 by Montana McGiverin

One of The Guvernment’s most prestige parties is coming back again. Their annual event, The Gift, is happening on December, 28th, 2013 and is much anticipated as usual. Guvernment’s resident DJ, Mark Oliver, does his famous open-to-close vinyl set, spinning only the best in Guv favourites, bringing back some memories, and starting some new ones.

This event has always been a free event, where the entry is a wristband with a key on it. The key is your pass to get a chance at unlocking one of their few prizes. This year, the same as last, the grand prize is a trip for two to Ultra Music Festival in Miami, which includes hotel, airfare and festival tickets. This year, they’re doing something a little different to select the winner. Over the past few weeks, they’ve allowed people to submit videos showing their favourite Guvernment moment of 2013. The three videos with the most social media interactions will be chosen as finalists, and the final winner is then decided at The Gift by Ink Entertainment.

Regardless of the prizes, you are definitely not wise to allow yourself to miss this one. The Guvernment veterans will be out to dance to their favourite tracks and Mark Oliver will definitely keep it groovy all night long!
