UK-based label Circus Records return with Circus 2.5’, an action packed remix album, due for worldwide release on the 27th of January (Beatport on January 13th). The album is a selection of remixes for the massively successful Circus Two’ compilation, released in May 2013.
“A huge bass filled collaboration” –  This Song Is Sick
With ‘Circus 2.5’, you can expect a collective mix of wall-shattering, colossal-bass goodness served up via the Circus Records roster, with cuts from Cookie Monsta, Brown and Gammon and FuntCase given a fresh lick of paint by some of the biggest names on the electronic scene such as AC Slater, Opiuo and Jakkin Rabbit. As with any Circus Records release be ready for a full throttle onslaught of galvanizing beats, lashings of mind-bending electronics and soaring melodies wrapped in epic production crafted by some of the world’s most talented and in-demand producers.
Circus Records are advocates of giving the freshest talent an opportunity and ‘Circus 2.5’ exemplifies this with two remix winners appearing on the bill. Having unearthed the likes of Mizuki via previous Circus Records remix competitions, Cyran and Matti Blair both impressed with their respective Mizuki’s Block Party and Cookie Monsta and FuntCase’s Atom Bomb remixes to earn a spot alongside only the best in bass music.

With the release of ‘Circus One’ & ‘Circus Two’ further cementing the labels’ burgeoning reputation and mainstream presence which has seen them win the recent award of Oustanding Contribution to Bass Music at the recent Bass Music Awards in London, ‘Circus 2.5’ is another timely reminder of the labels commanding presence and versatility with a mix of household names and fresh talent combining to make for a truly mouth-watering offering.

Circus Records was formed in 2009 by Doctor P, Flux Pavilion, Simon Swan and Earl Falconer. Forged in Dubstep, the imprint has risen to the crest of electronic culture. Whether established or new to the family, the London based label is the exclusive home to some of the finest electronic talent on the planet including Cookie Monsta, FuntCase, Slum Dogz, Brown and Gammon, Roksonix and Mizuki.
