Together, long-time friends Aly Amr Fathalah and Fadi Wassef Naguib make up the dynamic trance duo better known as Aly and Fila. In addition to being a regular on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll since 2008, the two trance legends are mainstays at the world-renowned A State of Trance parties. They host one of the premier radio shows and record labels in the trance universe, both of which are called Future Sound of Egypt, and have released several studio albums, the most recent being “Quiet Storm” in 2013.
It has been nearly a year since Aly and Fila have graced the decks of a Toronto nightclub. Last time they were here was for Ink Entertainment‘s infamous Contact event. That night was filled with heavy hitting, high-energy beats from all across the trance spectrum. I expect January 25th, 2014, to be no different. The Toronto trance family will finally reunite in The Guvernment‘s main room and rejoice as they bask in the euphoric and uplifting melodies that make your heart race, your feet move, and your soul sing.
