On Sunday, February 16th, 2014, the Queen of Techno Nicole Moudaber will once again grace our beloved city with her presence at RYZE nightclub. She had the first ever headlining set at RYZE on the opening night October 13, 2013. Needless to say, the show was a huge success and fans have been requesting her back since.

Miss Moudaber is no stranger to the techno scene. A true force to be reckoned with as a DJ and producer, Nicole’s rise through the ranks of the DJ elite has been swift, purposeful and striking. After years as a promoter – first in her native Lebanon, then in London – and a long self-apprenticeship in her studio, Nicole burst onto the scene like record-wielding Athena. Once she unleashed her creativity, everything simply went BOOM! Propelled by her flawlessly executed sleazy, edgy house and tough, soulful techno sound, she quickly solidified her spot in Carl Cox and Steve Lawler’s radars. She’s supplied killer tracks for labels like INTEC, ViVa, 8Sided Dice, Kling Klong, Monique Musique and Waveform Recordings, while remixing several artists including Santos, Martin Eyer, Mauro Picotto and Fergie. Nicole has had a perfect start to a career that began relatively recently. Her tracks picked up the support of yet more DJ royalty like Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Loco Dice and Danny Tenaglia.

Miss Moudaber’s debut album “Believe” (Drumcode) ruled the charts in 2013. It was Number 1 for a month on the Beatport techno, tech house and deep house lists. She was an unofficial resident for Carl Cox at Space Ibiza, rocked Music On with Marco Carola, and gave the Ibiza season an unforgettable send-off by playing the final set at Space Closing 2013. Her shows sold out across the world with fans snapping up tickets to see Nicole spin at festivals including Time Warp, Electric Daisy Carnival, and Monegros Desert Festival. She’s also become a byword for marathon sets at Output and Montreal’s Stereo Club, among others.

Nicole kicked off 2014 with gigs in Philadelphia, New York, and at Mexico’s BPM Festival (a killer 3 hour set of non-stop, brutal techno), followed by a North and South America tour (including the February 16th show in Toronto). “The underground is stronger than ever,” Nicole declared in 2013. Thanks to her, it is set to grow even bigger and bolder as she continues to shape and share her vision of the “loving, amazing, ritualistic vibe” of dance music.

Nicole Moudaber’s fanbase continues to increase on a daily basis all over the world, and Toronto is no exception of that. This show is going to be one for the books, and is sure to sell out ASAP. Believe me, this is a show you DO NOT want to miss. Grab tickets online now, on wanttickets.com.
