On Sunday, February 2nd 2014, Box of Kittens + Justin of alienInFlux Sound System, Boreal Canoe Trips (the founder of Harvest Festival) presents Sunday Afternoon Social part 2. Due to the IMMENSE success of the first event on 12th January 2014, the guests have been requesting a comeback on a constant basis. I was lucky enough to cover the event for EDMTOR. It really was the best Sunday I’ve ever had! It was so refreshing to be at that gorgeous loft, grooving to the music that I love so much (deep house, techno and funky house), for which I am ecstatic that the organizers are doing this again! It will be at the same venue from 2pm to 10pm, except this time there is a bigger lineup. That gives enough time for the guests to enjoy the day, while still having enough time to rest for the following work day. Wander, explore and dance the mid-winter afternoon away with nine performers + two sound systems in three expansive rooms. Best of all, it is kid friendly, and can be turned into a family affair.

LINE-UP:
Box of Kittens: Mike Gibbs, Jamie Kidd, Fabio Palermo
Leelee Mishi
Ali Black
Paul Revered
Joel “Cortex Entertainment” Dubin
DJ Chocolate
Rollin’ Cash

Loft 404 is a fresh & beautifully-decorated 1920’s style loft that spans the top floor of a turn-of-the-century downtown textile building, with three fabulously-furnished, interconnecting spaces for you to roam and explore. Furthermore, the organizers are bringing in two of the city’s top-guru mixologists who will be serving delicious & expertly-crafted caesars, mimosas and a variety of exotic cocktails alongside regular bar offerings.

The location is central, the atmosphere is amazing, the crowd is friendly, the music is very pleasurable. You cannot go wrong. This one of a kind event is limited to only 200 tickets, and are selling like wildfire! You do not want to miss out on this unique experience, so grab your tickets ASAP, and see you on the dance floor.

Box of Kittens is an international production group providing high-quality, electronic music events to its members. Launched in October 2007, Box of Kittens has gone on to lead the underground scene in Canada and as of June 2012, begun promotions in Berlin, Germany. As one of the few organizations to have its roots in secret, non-public events, Box of Kittens parties have grown in size while always retaining the core ethos of an intimate atmosphere with friends and music lovers. Their mission is to save the world from bad music, as they say, and have been very successful at doing so in every event they organize.
