Following the massive success of his Billboard Dance Chart No.1 smash Lie to Me (Cole Plante with Myon and Shane 54 featuring Koko LaRoo), Cole Plante has partnered with music legend Perry Farrell on new single Here We Go Now.
A thunderous, genre-bending anthem, Here We Go Now kicks off with an epic build-up featuring Farrell’s voice counting you down into the impending madness. Featuring colossal big-room drops, titanic electro synths, Plante even finds room to fit in bass, trap & dub-step influences and sounds. In this track, Plante and Farrell have unleashed a festival monster.
Perry Farrell’s best known as the front-man for the alternative rock band Jane’s Addiction, and for creating the Lollapalooza Festival as a farewell tour for Jane’s Addiction in 1991. Farrell has led the alternative rock groups Porno for Pyros and Satellite Party; he is also a DJ.
DJing since the age of 14, Cole’s precisely crafted big room, electro-house and dubstep fusion DJ sets are packed with high-octane selections and increasingly his own productions. While his choices are put together to keep the crowd moving, his progression directs the mood to shift just the right amount, constantly evolving and advancing. He is the youngest DJ to ever play the Lollapalooza Festival, which from inception has been known for defying convention and pushing boundaries. In 2014 he already has played the massive OMFG! NYE party in San Diego.
Cole’s previous DJ gigs have included some of the top clubs in the world, as well as 2012 Identity Festival Tour, Red Bull’s Summer X Games 2012, and the American Music Awards 40th anniversary VIP party. Cole has performed alongside Avicii, Nero, Porter Robinson, Eric Prydz, Paul Oakenfold, Bingo Players, Carnage, and Danny Avila, to name just a few.
No stranger to production and remixing, Cole has had a hand in soundtracking video games, films, and television shows, as well as remixing fellow artists.
