TRACKS: The Magician – New Remix and EP out Today

The Magician is the alias of talented DJ/Producer, Stephen Fasano. One night not so long ago, he appeared from a place between space and time.  Apparently he stepped into this world, materializing in a cloud of crystal stars and soft pink smoke. Some claim he’s a former airline pilot who crashed an afterparty – some say it’s all just an illusion.

Previously a member of revered Balearic disco duo, AeroplaneThe Magician disembarked that flight and boarded his own magical carpet ride in 2010.  Since then he’s been casting some serious spells via a string of damn fine original releases for Kitsuné, stellar remixes including his take on Lykke Li’s I Follow Rivers which has had over 36 Million views on Youtube, and of course his monthly Magic Tapes on Soundcloud. Each of his 38 Magic Tapes is a trove of treasures packed with new music, exclusives from other artists and music from fans all woven together by The Magician.

Out today in the US on Big Beat/Parlophone his new EP, When The Night Is Over’, follows a recent run of stand-out shows across the US including HARD’s Day Of The Dead, and comes on the heels of Coachella confirming his appearance for 2014.
