We know, it’s the middle of winter. 49 of the 50 United States have snow right now. But fear not dance music fans – Miami is just around the corner! As Cr2 Records does every year around this time, they crank up the party vibes early and present their annual compilation Cr2 Live & Direct – Miami.
For last year’s installment Cr2’s head honcho, MYNC, invited R3hab and Nari & Milani to be a part of the series that was packed with three blazing DJ mixes. The result? Fire. The album shot straight to the Number 1 position on iTunes dance charts in numerous locations worldwide and even 12 months on remains firmly in the Top 50 Dance Albums in the USA and Top 25 in Canada. Wait until you get a load of what Cr2 has in store for their 2014 compilation…
“Cr2 Live & Direct – Miami 2014” is extra special as it mark’s the 10th Anniversary year of Cr2 Records. For this momentous occasion Cr2 fattened the load by adding a forth part to the compilation and bringing in an eclectic mix of talent – Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Carnage, and Wayne & Woods – to sit alongside label honcho MYNC. The result is a four-part celebration of dance music and your definitive warm up to Miami.
Founded in 2004 by Mark Brown (MYNC), the label shot to popularity with early releases from Eric Prydz & Steve Angello, Paul Woolford, Kurd Maverick, Dirty South, Fedde Le Grand and Chuckie. In fact if you look through Cr2’s catalogue over the last 10 years you will find pretty much every major name in the scene including Avicii, Deadmau5, Carl Cox and many more.
