Electronic Nation Canada and Bud Light Canada are pleased to announce the creation of a new electronic dance music partnership, to bring the Bud Light Digital Dreams Festival and Bud Light Brrrrr! Festival to fans in Canada. The partnership commences with the upcoming Bud Light Digital Dreams Music Festival 2014, set to take place at The Flats at Ontario Place on Canada Day Weekend, June 28th & 29th, 2014.  The announcement will catapult Bud Light Digital Dreams – the largest electronic dance music (EDM) event in Canada, with more than 80,000 festival goers expected in attendance – onto the world stage, in both sheer magnitude and for the unparalleled experience the event will offer to fans.

“This acknowledges our efforts in establishing Toronto as a global electronic dance music hotbed, and will help us to continue growing at a phenomenal pace,” said Ryan Kruger, managing director, Electronic Nation Canada.  “It’s a true testament to our fans, who travel to Toronto to experience the pop culture phenomenon that is Bud Light Digital Dreams.”

Bigger, better and NEW cashless technology

After a sold-out presale of more than 20,000 tickets, Bud Light Digital Dreams 2014 is poised for its most successful year in the event’s three year history.  Most recently named “2013 Party of the Year” in a prominent industry award, last year’s festival boasted more than 50,000 attendees, having doubled its size from the previous year.  This summer’s event will offer an expanded footprint, more stages and a new site configuration to enhance the fan experience.  More importantly, Bud Light Digital Dreams is proud to be among the first events in Canada to introduce the latest RFID wristband and cashless payment technology. This technology will allow the festival to operate with greater efficiency, security and most importantly, it will provide attending fans unprecedented access to interact directly with the festival and the festival grounds like never before. Other new features soon to be announced include the event’s world-class roster of international talent, site improvements, the launch of mobile app upgrades, visitor travel and hospitality packages and more.

“Electronic Nation is one of the world’s premiere electronic dance music event producers and marketers, and we’re thrilled to be joining forces to take Bud Light Digital Dreams and Bud Light Brrrrr! to the next level,” said Todd Allen, director of Bud Light Canada. “Electronic dance music is a growing and highly relevant music genre with Bud Light’s fans and this partnership will enable the brand to continue to provide unparalleled electronic dance music experiences.”
