Since its opening this year in January 2014, CODA has been highly successful and truly exceptional at bringing the most talented DJs in the House Music scene. This Saturday, on March 22nd, 2014, they have once again heightened our anticipation with the likes of DJ Tennis and Bob Moses headlining and making their very first debuts in Toronto. Having performed internationally in cities such as Ibiza, Paris, London, Berlin and New York City – they were long overdue to finally be brought to Toronto!

DJ Tennis is a Berlin-based producer and creator of the label Life and Death, which is gradually gaining a reputation for having its finger on the pulse when it comes to new and unique tech house talent. In fact, it is this very label that brought us world-renowned acts such as Tale Of Us and Mario Basanov. His brand of music combines highly danceable rhythms with hypnotic elements that are sure to leave us house music fiends entranced on the dance floor. Tennis ripped it this year with his set at the BPM Festival in Mexico, check it out:

He’s currently touring to support his new EP, “Local” coming out in April. We are hoping to hear more of his eccentric but extremely catchy tunes from the new EP this Saturday!

Our second headliner is Bob Moses. This homegrown (Vancouver) but New York-based duo are known for spinning their lower tempos of deep house music that chills you out but still keeps you just pumped enough to be bumping to their dusky synths and catchy beats. Their set from last year’s Burning Man Festival is a must-listen:

It is so beautiful it hurts. If you liked their set, you will love their recent and second EP, “Far From the Tree” which is so personal and unique from any other deep house EP you have heard before.

CODA is also featuring South London Ordnance, who is known to bring the freshest sounds in bass music that you are unlikely to hear from anyone else. Listen below to get a taste of his music from latest podcast by him for which I simply have one word for: sexy. Last but not at all least, our brilliant local talents – My Favorite Robot, Night Vision and Rafwat & Chorniy will be keeping the club alive and the audience pumped all night as usual with their groovy, psychedelic, and mesmerizing sets. With all of this totally unique and sexy talent, we are in for one hell of a night this Saturday! Hope to see you there.
