Remember bands like Ah-Ha! and The Cure? It’s no lie that the 80’s have played a huge role when it comes to electronic music today. On Friday, April 25th, 2014 head to Toika Lounge and you will hear the best from the 80’s mixed with dance tracks.

Barry Felipe, Pan!c Pop, JRSTK, ATOM 6, and Snaggletooth will be spinning and each of them will bring their own flair and style to the dance floor.

With a style that takes 80’s classics and mixes it the hottest EDM tracks, Barry Felipe is sure to set the dance floor on fire. He even released a teaser for the upcoming event, which makes me even more excited!

Pan!c Pop first appeared in 2011 playing underground raves, since then he’s been playing local shows across Toronto. His repertoire includes spinning at parties such as Darkrave, Kawaii Bass and Get Mad at The Detour. Specializing in Jack House/ Electro House, you will definitely something magical while he spins at this event.

Due to JRSTK’s diverse background in music and his love to all types of musical genres, this guy will be throwing surprises and other stuff you would never imagine into his set. I’m definitely looking forward to see what this guy throws down, seeing as he does everything from club mixes to insane tech mixes.

ATOM 6, or, Alistair Fernandes, draws his influences from Trance legends as well as some House heavy hitters. His love of music will have the crowd grooving from side to side, and he is known to raise the roof.

Snaggletooth combines two different sounds from two artists creating something cutting edge and fresh. They will keep the momentum moving until the end with their edgy mash-ups, and I doubt you’ll be able to leave the dance floor once they start their set.
