TRACK REVIEW: Steve Brian with David Berkeley and Robien M – Stars and Hearts by Richard Granholm

Just in time for the spring season, trance producer Steve Brian has released his new single Stars and Hearts, a collaboration with producer Robien M and vocalist David Berkeley.

This new track has a smooth, summery sound. The breakdowns feature acoustic guitars, while the dance portions are layered with big synths and pianos. Combined with a classic chord progression and David’s vocals, and you have a summer hit. I actually find the male vocals refreshingly welcome, since the world of trance is dominated by female vocalists.

The talented Steve Brian is based in Germany, and has support from big producers, including Dash Berlin, Markus Schulz, and Armin van Buuren. His collaborator, Robien M, is a newcomer from Russia with seemingly much promise.

David Berkeley is an American singer-songwriter who has been featured on various trance songs by Sean Tyas, Steve Brian, Agulo, and Walsh & McAuley.
