For the second year Electric Island Concert + Picnic will be taking place on Olympic Park Island (Centre Island) every holiday Monday this summer! If the we can go by the four events from last summer, each series will showcase both local and international DJs and artists surrounded by Toronto’s skyline and waterfront. Anyone who has attended any Platform, Embrace or CODA events in the past will not be surprised by the high caliber of production, talent and passion for electronic music these three collaborators bring.
For anyone who will be attending Electric Island for the first time, be prepared to dance in the tree covered grooves, eat from a selection of BBQ vendors and drinks like Rockstar or Sapporo to your hearts content. Groove to the sounds as Moog Audio provides the equipment for the concerts. We hope body painting will be available this year as the artists created wonderful works of art on human canvases last year.
Those who attended last year will remember dancing to the likes of Seth Troxler, Sasha, Guy Gerber, Audiofly, Green Velvet, Hot Since 82, Soul Clap, Tale of Us, Joel Mull, Joy Orbinson and Chaim. Not a bad way to spend every holiday Monday! This year expect to hear a diversity of artists in the same location and dance the afternoon and night away under the stars.
