There’s a new player in Toronto’s party scene, and that player is a promotion company called Li5ten Up. On top of being a music blog covering EDM, rock, metal, hip-hop and rap, they are now putting on events in our beloved city, and Charlie Darker at Adelaide Hall is their big debut. With only a few shows being put on at this fairly new venue, this party will be a new experience in so many ways (a.k.a. it is NOT to be missed).

Li5ten Up has gathered a solid group of talented Toronto producers to perform at the event. Opening for the headliner Charlie Darker are DJ Paul David, ASMR(formerly known as Subwulf) and JRSTK. With this line-up of local up-and-comers, this is guaranteed to be a banging night.

Charlie Darker has received accolades from some of the top producers in the industry, including Tiësto, Hardwell, Zedd, Porter Robinson, Steve Aoki, Knife Party, Fedde Le Grand and Madeon. At only 20 years old, he’s already released tracks on some very notable labels including Mad Decent, Dim Mak and Ministry of Sound. And yes, he was handpicked by veteran dance floor slayer, Wolfgang Gartner, to put out the acclaimed “Atlantic / Pacific” EP on his newly re-launched Kindergarten Recordings. Those achievements certainly speak for themselves, but Charlie’s affiliation with some of the top players in the industry doesn’t even begin to sum up his ambition.

We forgot to mention Li5ten Up is putting on this event with the help of experts of Toronto’s party scene DiGo SyN and BNE Event Services, along with fresh promo companies like Heresy Media & Entertainment, Don’t Know Events, Artistik Management and Cider Productions, all of which are involved in Toronto’s rising underground music scene.
