This exciting release see’s 3LAU rip apart the dance floor with a powerful original instrumental…but then…in comes Tiësto with the iconic acapella from The Bloodhound Gang’s The Bad Touch to create something fun and totally unique.
Bang is also a special project for 3LAU because throws back to his earliest days as a producer where in his college dorm room he’d mash producers’ instrumentals with familiar vocals.
“I sent an instrumental to Tiësto in October of 2013, he loved the track and thought it would be awesome to add something w/ an old school vibe,” 3LAU says. “We wanted to try something different, making an original release w/ the same flow & feel of the music I mashed when I started my journey in dance music…and “Bang was born!”
2014 marks a fresh chapter for the young 3LAU (Born Justin Blau), as he transitions from mash-up guru to big room house producer. Joining the release circuit less than two years ago, the 22-year-old 3LAU amassed widespread acclaim with two eclectic collections of bootlegs titled Dance Floor Filth, and the term continues to describe 3LAU’s unique sound.
