Both Brothers in Progress & Venditti Bros hail from the beautiful city of Naples, Italy. Teaming up together, these techno legends have produced an EP that is just as addicting as chocolate. The first track is Emotionique, which provides a kick a psychadellic bassline with a kick that keeps you dancing. There are many percussive elements in this track, which sit over this groovy bassline. It’s starts off all innocent but as soon as this track kicks it into high gear, you know your into it and shake that feeling. This track also has vocals to break up the track but it allows the listener just to take a breath before the music starts flowing through your veins. Overall a decent track and something every deep techno lover should have.

G-Man’s interpretation of this track is much darker right from the get go, it is this darkness though that enhances the track. This track is more rhythmically sparse but the hooks and constant bassline keeps things interesting. The mixture of stabs of different notes helps this track become something eerie, but beautiful. The groovy bassline helps to keep your body moving while your brain is preparing to be amazed, with the switches G-Man uses. The loops and samples added in this track help to distinguish this track from the original and makes me love it even more. Any dark techno lover would need this in their collection, get it now.

Scream To Me a Loud is a stripped back techno song, basically pure techno, with the sound effects of an open door to break each melody. It is a phenomenal track that just needs to be played, or you can really scare someone, making it seem someone is coming into the room. The vocals add a nice kick to the track and allow the head to bob along with the track. There is again a wonderful percussive element in this track which keeps your brain intrigued. For anyone wanting a simple yet dynamic track, I would recommend them this track, definitely one to keep handy.

Finally the Psykoloco remix of Scream To Me a Loud expands upon this by stripping away everything and leaving behind an ambient hum with a psychedelic experience. The percussive element is heightened and you can clearly hear the drums which is why I love this track so much. This track makes me feel I’m playing the Conga drums and enjoying watching the stars outside. For any psychedelic techno fans, this track is for you, it has your name written all over it. I would definitely want this track if I was heading out for a night at Nocturne or if I was just going to lay under the stars.
