Premiered on ThisSongisSick.com on Wednesday June 11th, 2014, Exmag brings us his remix of Fall in Love Too Fast, originally by Griz.
If you’re unfamiliar with Griz, he is probably one of the most real electronic musicians out there right now, and by real I mean, he takes real instruments and makes electronic tracks out of them. His album “Mad Liberation” is so solid, that I have to listen to the entire thing as a whole because it’s just that good. He makes music with piano, guitar and brass instruments to give his sound a soulful and funky vibe with the occasional wub wub in there for the electronic lovers. Most of his works are for free download because Griz is one of those artists that believes all music should be available for everyone to access. Around New Years 2014 he even went to Facebook and posted a torrent link with his complete discography and unreleased tracks because he wanted to share it all with his fans.
This year his tour includes him bringing out the Saxophone for his fans to soak up real Soul music with an electronic twist. You can also catch Griz this year at Escapade in Ottawa, Hard Summer, and Shamabala Festival 2014 in BC, Canada, from August 6th-11th. Whew!
Exmag is also responsible for the Future Soul movement which is currently making a big splash in the EDM scene. His music is less hard hitting and more soothing for listeners. A month ago ThisSongIsSick also released Exmag’s remix of Chromeo‘s track Jealous (I ain’t with it) which is also worth a listen! Between Exmag and Griz, you can’t go wrong, because when these two artists come together it creates the ultimate combination of Soul and Electronic music. Don’t miss out!
