TRACK REVIEW: “Won’t be Broken” by Morvan featuring Sopheary Original Mix and Eximinds’ Remix by Amrit Sandhu

Morvan is a 24 year-old DJ and music producer based out of Zurich, Switzerland. This newcomer has already hit it big. We Won’t Be Broken featuring Sopheary has been climbing the trance Beatport charts and has been supported by numerous trance legends. The likes of Armin van Buuren, Aly & Fila, Andrew Rayel, Markus Schulz, Paul Oakenfold, Cosmic Gate, and many more have supported this track.

With subtle cords and pulsing synths Won’t Be Broken (Original Mix) is exceptionally beautiful. It’s progressive but yet soothing at the same time. This is just beauty in and of itself. The vocals on this track remind me of some Cosmic Gate and Ferry Corsten tracks. The vocals compliment the melody so perfectly, and it’s hard not to sing along. The uplifting melody alone, keeps me moving and interested in the song. The amazing thing  is that you can play it anytime and it gets you moving. This track reminds me of driving into the sunset and being released into freedom. The pure energy from this track is raw and full of emotion, and it leaves an impact on whoever listens to it. The track itself moved through a beautiful breakdown, arriving at an uplifting climax before cascading into sounds that move your body to the dance floor. Morvan has captured the heart and soul of this track and I’m interested to hear more. You need this track as soon as possible if you are a trance fan.

This remix done by Eximinds of the original Won’t Be Broken is hauntingly beautiful. The Russian duo takes the original and continues to create a beat that astounds even the most pickiest of trance fans. They take the melodic focal point of the original track and insert a bassline that keeps going with soaring, uplifting synths. It reminds me of when I started listening to trance and how happy that made me feel. This happiness is freedom in my eyes, and this song continues that feeling deep into your soul. I feel that I have rediscovered something that was long hidden ago. I love this remix because it makes me feel like dancing and singing along.

Thank you Morvan and Eximinds, these are tracks I definitely need to have as I have become addicted. Grab both of these tracks ASAP, the sooner the better.
