Forgot About Kul by new sensation Kulkid is a wicked track. Hailing from the prestigious Alps, France, Kulkid is showing how French House is really done. Both his Facebook and Twitter accounts mention  he was born in a forest, raised by animals that this shows in his funky yet Deep House grooves. A cool fact about Kulkid is he can dislocate his jaw and that he can drink a litre or more of jasmine tea every day. He states that his parents are the one that musically influenced him as well as artists Four Tet, Jamie XX, Mono and Aphex Twin.

Forgot About Kul is organic and funky, having a depth in the melody which continues to keep your feet moving. The vocals in this track match the eerie darkness that this track as. The song has wonderful breaks which separate each section beautifully allowing the song to seep into your body. I can see this track being played in an underground club and having the whole dance floor packed with bodies moving everywhere. The fluidity of the track is amazing, allowing each hair on your body to stand on end with anticipation for a drop or a vocal. You can hear his influences in this track but yet somehow different, something unique to Kulkid. This track is definitely one of those tracks you need to have, especially when you want to chill back and relax.

I Need U has a beautiful melody with sharp and percussive vocals, which makes you hair stand on ends. The stark contrast works and makes this track a really good track. This track also has an eerie darkness and the vocals help to make this track even darker. The melody is phenomenal and sends shivers down my spine. This is definitely the track to listen to when you are driving around the city. I can imagine this track being a summer jam and just enjoying nice weather outside. In addition, this track is definitely a track to take to the beach, blast it and enjoy it. I would definitely put this track in my mp3 device to keep with me throughout the day and I recommend you do the same.
