ALBUMS: London house duo Dusky releases “Love Taking Over EP” on 17 Steps

Released on their new 17 Steps label, the “Love Taking Over EP” follows previous club hits from Dusky, such as Careless, Nobody Else and 9T8. On this diverse 3-track showcase, the London production powerhouse pull in on their deep influence from vintage jungle/drum & bass vibes, injecting their house and techno templates with an atmosphere both Alfie and Nick have been enamoured with since their youths in London.

The debut release from 17 Steps features 3 tracks: Inta, Expectations and the title track Love Taking Over. Each track a journey unto it’s own, the EP ranges from the deep, atmospheric grooves and dark, percussive euphoria of the title track through to the more militant, bass-heavy thrust of Inta and into the quirky, jazz-influenced Expectations.
