Tomas Heredia, hailing from the beautiful Buenos Aires in Argentina, started producing music from the age of 16. Tomas sought inspiration from the likes of Armin van Buuren and Dash Berlin to name a few; and their signature sound is apparent in any one of Heredia’s productions. Two years later, Tomas remixed Jorn van Deynhoven’s Spotlight and his career has taken off ever since. In absolutely no time at all, Heredia was remixing tracks by Cerf, Mitiska and Jaren, Above & Beyond and even Armin van Buuren himself! This catapulted his fame and resulted in his very idols praising him and showering him with accolades. In his short career, Heredia has already played at the some of the largest festivals and events around the world, one of which being Gatecrasher in Toronto.
His success has culminated in Armin van Buuren giving him a spot in his A State of Trance 600 show in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Dash Berlin taking him under his wing during his Music is Life Tour. If Tomas Heredia brings the same vigour and energy he did at Gatecrasher or A State of Trance 600, then this show will be one for the ages. I, personally, can’t wait to be bathed and entranced as the spectacular sounds of Tomas Heredia and the mesmerizing lights of Mix Markham steal me away from reality for a few hours.
Tomas Heredia will be joined by Jeremy Vancaulart and Landry. Both are Canadian homegrown talents hailing from Mississauga and Ottawa, respectively. Jeremy discovered dance music and specifically trance, when going through a particularly tough time and sought comfort in the soothing melodies. He started producing trance from that point on and his skill has brought him to events all over North America. Landry is also well versed in trance music, having played alongside the likes of Myon and Shane 54, Ben Gold and Stoneface and Terminal to name a few. Landry’s next big event, other than Mix Markham of course, is at the Ibiza Festival in Montreal where he will be joined by trance phenoms Orjan Nilsen, Simon Patterson, Jerome Isma-Ae, Ilan Bluestone, and Tomas Heredia, once again.
Mix Markham, located at 10 Esna Park Dr, is Markham’s premier nightclub. Styled after the legendary Las Vegas nightclubs, Mix Markham comes fully equipped with a state of the art lighting system to revel that of any club downtown. Combined with a sound system unheard of north of Steeles and an expansive dancefloor surrounded by glass-enclosed booths, Mix Markham has all the positives of a high end club, without the expensive bill. There are shuttles available from Fairview Mall as well as City Hall, so you really have no excuse to miss this event.
