OWSLA‘s very own Alex Metric releases the first remix of his latest single Heart Weighs a Ton featuring Stefan Storm on Big BeatAtlantic Records. You may have recognized this track already as it has been making it’s way through summer festivals and outdoor events sets. Laidback Luke knows how to add a layer of heaviness without taking away from the original, and make you groove to that fat bass line as if the brand new track had already been around for years!
Although Alex Metric is touring right now, he doesn’t have any planned shows for Toronto just yet, but keep your eyes peeled because he comes through the Greater Toronto Area pretty often!

If you really enjoy this track I highly recommend you check out Alex Metric & Oliver; their Hope EP has the perfect amount of melodic tunes taking advantage of funky synths, piano and bass guitar, yet still maintaining an industrial vibe to it, especially in the opening track which the EP is named after.
