On Friday September 26Focus Fridaysand The Hoxtonare excited to host a Toronto instalment of the French Express Labelnight featuring Moon Boots, Issac Tichauerand special guest Ben Pearce. French Express has seen great success and attention since it’s launch in 2008 by DJ/Producer Perseus. The labels unique vision and ideals have set them apart from the surplus of independent Deep House labels and artists worldwide. This Friday expect to be blown away by the infectious groove and sexy basslines that will be flooding the PK sound system inside The Hoxton.

Isaac Tichauer – Berlin based DJ/producer who began his musical career as a classically schooled pianist, but was heavily influenced by the Detroit House scene, which changed his career path to lead him into electronic music. He is characterized by his deep, progressive energy that can be found in his music through detailed synth work, melancholy vocals and classic lead elements from Rhodes to strings. Moon Boots – Moon Boots entered the world in the mid-1980s via Cape Canaveral. After years of service as the preferred footwear of celebrity astronauts (notably Tom Hanks), Moon Boots came to life during a classified experiment aboard the International Space Station. Little is known of what actually transpired aboard the shuttle, but in short, Moon Boots became a sentient creature, equipped with reason, intuition, and groove.
Ben Pearce – To many, Ben Pearce’s name is synonymous with What I Might Do, his oddly anthemic Deep House debut that dominated club floors across the world in 2012, whilst garnering support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Heidi and Pete Tong. Whilst this is an easy correlation to make (the track went platinum in Europe after all), those who have followed him since the beginning can testify that he is so much more than that, and the coming months will definitely see him come into his own.
Adele is the owner of Tranceported. She manages and maintains the social media and the photo and video teams, and has been shooting our event photos since 2011. She has been a fan of Trance music since the mid-90s and started this website (formerly called EDM TOR) in 2012.
