On Friday September 5, everybody braved their way in the pouring rain to The Hoxton for Tchami, Hunter Siegel, and more. This was my first time attending a deep house or techno event of any kind, and I had an amazing experience. By the time I arrived at around 11, a DJ by the name of Filthy Gorgeous was rocking a full house. She played some amazing bass-driven techno and deep house. Everyone in the packed club was dancing, she was dancing, and everyone was having a great time.

Hunter Siegel came on at around midnight with a hoodie over his head. He chose to stop the music and reset the mood, something that definitely worked in that moment. The crowd picked up more energy and started to push forward, indicating more excitement for this legend. He played a bunch of his hits, while also dropping the Zeds Dead hit Lost You, among other gems.

When the French DJ Tchami finally came on late into the night, the crowd was going wild. He played a bunch of his hits, including Untrue, and his remix of AlunaGeorge’s You Know You Like It. His signature style of future house had the crowd going hard.

Check out this Tchami mix to see what you may or may not have missed at this Official Hoxton TIFF Event!
