Follow THUMP as they take a journey through the early history of electronic music in the late 60’s through its trials and tribulations to its peak as a mainstream staple. Presented by Olmeca, THUMP gives us Switched ON: a five part series with exclusive footage and interviews with the legendary artists and figures such as Moby, Tommy Sunshine, Morton Subotnick, Nick Catchdubs , Kerri Mason, Zel McCarthy, Raymond Roker, DJ DB, Frankie Bones and Steve Lewis. Through their eyes we see how the sub-culture began and thrived as a haven for minorities to express themselves freely, the rise and fall of disco, 90’s raves and today’s mega-DJs.
