The legend himself, John Digweed, creates yet another sensational mix in “Underground Sound of Ibiza- CD2 Minimix – Clubside / Night time” with his music label Bedrock Records. If you haven’t read my last track preview for “Underground Sound of Ibiza- CD1 Minimix – Pool side”, I suggest you do to get a taste of the underground Ibiza sound that Digweed masters in.

‏The mix begins with the the deep sounds of Fictional Crossover by Marc Marzenit. Spain-born DJ, Marzenit has always been in love with music since he was young. His first musical compositions started with classical music, eventually working his way to electronic music at the young age of 14. Currently, he has been in demand by various big DJ’s such as Digweed, Tiësto, and Sven Väth. Travelling all over the world for the past 10 years, Marzenit is an absolutely brilliant DJ who runs under the Bedrock label.

‏Moving over the beautiful spanish strings from Havana – Dub by Ramon Tapia & Stavroz, a more uplifting, tech-house sound comes into the mix. Hypernova by Eagles & Butterflies adds a magical mix of Tech-House, chill out lounge sound with an undertone of spanish influence to keep the audience dancing. Eagles & Butterflies, also known as Jay Pidgeon, is a one-man DJ mastermind, coming up into the scene of electronic music from London, UK. He is currently exclusive in Ibiza working with the members of Bedrock Records.

‏I absolutely adore when mixes get a dark, raw energy surrounding it’s sound. And there it is right after Digweed plays Hypernova by Eagles & Butterflies. An instant feel of a capturing music is a great feel to put mid-way throughout a mix. The dark and deep sounds of Atoll by Ian O’ Donovan captures me to continue listening. The dark Techno sound continues to play, and a heavy Techno beat drops at song 7. Puzzle Love – Richie G an uplifting, great tune to groove out too and get right in the mood to dance when at a club. This song has texture, quality and everything I would look for in a techno song, so I was quite pleased when Digweed decided to drop it in his mix.

‏Underground Sound of Ibiza- CD2 Minimix – Clubside / Night time ends with Lamur – Sebastien Léger Remix by Guy J, an upbeat funky tune that captures the overall picture of Ibiza night clubs.
