Leroy Styles is the dutch DJ and producer who is best known for co-producing Chris Brown’s global hit As Your Friend which was a hugely successful collaboration with another well known Dutch DJ/producer Afrojack. You can actually hear the influence when you hear his music.

Styles started out using cassette tapes to practice his DJ mixing skills and has shown just how far you can take your passion for music. Styles first played at an R&B club in 2002 and found that the urban crowd didn’t feel his House music; that alone in and of itself shows just how far the scene has come.

His latest track to drop is You & I; which features the hypnotic vocals of Australian Tania Doko (which was a treat because I haven’t heard her voice before and I found that she mixes really well with House). I also love how EDM manages to mix the sounds and the vocals and the vibes of the entire world!

This track premiered at Miami Music Week in March but is officially being released by Powerhouse Records. I really liked this track because it threw in some notable elements of progression into the Electro and House set. Most suitable for peak times at a festival, fist-pumping on someone’s shoulders! Get ready to get sweaty with some straight up House music to this track, with the vocals adding a unique touch and melody to what I consider an elevated club hit.

Leroy Styles manages to bring some of the groove sounds of R&B very subtly into a dance floor electro beat; I have to say that I have become a new fan after listening to this track – can’t wait it see what he brings to the table next. It seems like it is only the beginning.
