Miami based producer Kevin Castro marks his debut on refused. with his latest EP “Capsule“, which features 4 minimalistic tracks which he’s crafted with his strong experimental and highly artistic characteristics. Having just released CUBISM on Dubfire‘s Sci+Tec label which hit #16 on Beatport’s Top 100 Minimal chart, and with over 13,000 plays on THUMP‘s SoundCloud feature – Kevin Castro is undoubtedly making waves across the Americas with his refined minimalistic productions.

The 4 pack EP features Capsule, Prism, Nowledge and Moleql – a quadruple of eargasmic minimalism:

Capsule – Starting off with in an intriguing intro into a dark, ominous feel right from the get-go, Capsule is a euphoria of hypnotic elements with a collection of unusual effects that give it a unique character and infectious groove.

Prism – Swirling into a vortex of a sizzling bassline which slowly unravels into a cataclysmic frenzy and stomping bass – Prism creates an imposing atmosphere but one which is very enjoyable.

Nowledge– Immersive and engrossing with a bassline which reverberates under the occasional key or unusual effect, makes Nowledge a perfect representation of the sound Kevin Castro produces.

Moleql – Last but certainly not least, to complete the 4 pack EP is Moleql, a minimalistic groove which permeates to the soul with its fine percussions, thunderous kick and melodramatic breakdown. Quirky meets minimalism at its finest.
