A refreshing and uplifting sound, Premiesku’s latest EP “More 4”, brings the finest in house to all ears. Premiesku, also known as Livio, Roby and George G from Romania, were recently signed onto Apollonia, and this month they will release their first EP under the label.
More 4 is a unique and interesting mix of Techno, Minimal and old skool with a deep, Tribal-House foundation. The boys make it evident that their music is a need to break from the social normality of big room house sounds, and their eye for a groovy bass is exhibited throughout the songs of More 4.
The EP’s first song is the self titled single, More 4. Premiesku provides a great diversity of electronic sound in this song blending everything from Techno to euphoric, with a bit of tribal feel, and a variety of different instruments. As the song picks up at about 2:30, a woman’s voice makes an entrance, increasing the momentum and feeling of the song. Quite enjoyable, Premiesku kept me on my toes for what was next.
Continuing onto the second song called Real, I was drawn into the Disco vibe that this tune has with almost a Glitch-House sound. The most uplifting song of the three, Real is a great way to get an audience up and dancing.
To end the EP, Premiesku brings in a deeper, darker House sound with Despre Ei. A great tune to get you in the mood for fall, the trio emphasizes the Minimal, Techno feel which was underlined throughout all songs, adding an excellent touch of Tribal-House. Despre Ei is an excellent song to finish off an infectious EP.
This is not the first EP for these guys, as they have released several others including their first EP in 2009 “Mistique“, and “Pe Dos” in 2014.
