On Friday, October 24th, 2014, SCI+TEC invades CODA with hometown hero Carlo Lio, Shaded (live) and Chris Larsen, for a night of sizzling basslines and deep immersive Techno. Come feel the music as the Techno trio feeds your soul with their infectious grooves that will have the dace floor in a frenzy.
Carlo Lio – The Toronto Native is coming home after attending The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) October 16th-19th. Carlo Lio will be a part of the Dubfire:Live – Hybrid – *Worldwide Live Show Debut, as well as Awakenings ADE. Carlo can turn a careful observer into a dancer through the raw emotion and passion in his music. With his flawless and imaginative mixing and his mind-blowing programming, Carlo preaches a gospel of repetitive beats. Carlo emulates great confidence and is a strong visionary and leader in Toronto’s club culture.
Shaded – Has a signature sound – a weaving combination of funky, psychedelic vibes and textures, making his sets something to remember. His sound is undeniable in character and is breathing new life into the Techno House world. Releasing on SCI+TEC with multiple EP’s in both the Techno and Minimal charts in 2012 and 2013, has gained him much respect from industry leaders including Dubfire, Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati, Tiga, Slam and Sasha.
Chris Larsen will join Carlo Lio and Shaded to open up the night, warming up the CODA dance floor as empty spaces become occupied with two steps, good vibes and smiles.
