NEWS: Chris Rusu joins forces with refused. Audio with his 4-Piece EP titled “The Void”

refused. is excited to welcome another sheer light of talent to the team, young DJ/Producer Chris Rusu. Hailing from Wisconsin, his exceptional skills in Techno productions have been acknowledged and enjoyed by world-class techno legends such as Dubfire and Richie Hawtin. After a number of successful releases on Dubfire’s Sci + Tec label, Chris Rusu has prepared yet another pack of techno delights for an EP titled “The Void” out now on Justin James refused. label.

“The Void” is made up of pulsating bass filled goodness. Each track has its own essence and energy that shows off Rusu’s talent and diversity in his productions. This EP starts in with The Void which is characterized by a driving bassline and crisp percussions and trickling effects. Next is Attick Attack which has a heavy bassline paired with an echoing hum, which loops throughout the track. Next, The Story goes a little more minimal with its consistent tempo and abstract effects. The last track of the EP and my favorite of them all is Transmissions with its ominous, dark expression and rumbling bassline.
