With a vast, genre-spanning history, Jamie Prado leverages his experience to produce well-crafted tunes ranging from bass heavy house, groovy garage-laced nu disco, and percussive tech house. The “Jamie Prado” EP starts off with the lead single Credit Card which commands your attention with a textured frenzy and reconstructed four-to-the-floor beat. Slinkfunk follows with jazz-infusion pianos over a rolling tribal beat. Closing out the extended player is Matty Scoll‘s Debt Collectorremix of Credit Card. Giving the track an old school, Baltimore club sound, Matty delivers a peak-time track controlled by a relentless kick drum and a booming low-end. We are absolutely loving this debut from Jamie Prado and rest-assured, this is only the beginning. The EP is out now exclusively on Beatport, to be released worldwide on October 20th, 2014.
