Get ready because Destiny, INK and Electronic Nation are bringing us one of the last Drum & Bass events that The Guvernment Complex will ever see before its doors close at the end of January 2015: projek: Andy C.
Toronto local Drum & Bass DJ Hydee will be gracing us with his presence as the opener for the event. The well-known member of Toronto Bass Community is guaranteed to set the tone for the evening and drop some Dubstep and Bass that will get you movin’ faster than you can say BASS IN YOUR FACE!
Another Toronto local DJ Marcus Visionary will lay down the best of Soca meets Drum & Bass, showcasing his broad talents in the bass stream from anything like Jungle to Reggae. His solo tracks have a lot of soul and energy and I can’t wait to cross him off my list of must see local artists.
Armanni Reign will be switchin’ it up in the Bass category, playing the darker Hip- Hop beats, possibly some hybrid Trap, and definitely more Drum & Bass. This Atlanta DJ is sure to blow the roof off before the main act even begins. You can expect a nice dose of cultural urban vibes that’ll force you to unwind and make the city come alive.
This will be Andy C ‘s is finally how at Kool Haus, and we have Toronto to thank for our demand to bring him back one last time! The man is known as the “Armin van Buuren of Drum & Bass” and is a co-founder of RAM Records. He is a flawless turntablist, can spin from 3 turntables simultaneously, and is infamous for laying down 6 hour sets! Toronto scored big this time! This event runs until 4 a.m. so brace yourselves because the Drum & Bass King is coming. If you haven’t heard his mixing yet, please educate yourself and listen to his latest mix! I’m sure there will be man similarities in his live set.
