Toronto’s underground music scene has seen an incredible shift in the last few years, as music has become a very integral part of our cities culture. Through events, festivals, and the shared love for deep house and techno, a family and bond has been formed. As we look back at this year, we reminisce on all the amazing music we’ve heard, events we’ve attended, people we have met through this shared love of music and as well the success that has come to many of our local artists, as they dedicate themselves to producing and DJing.
Hypnotic Mindscapes & Brooks Events have come together to host a New Years Eve event that will give music lovers an alternative to over-priced and over crowded parties that defeat this nights true meaning. With an incredible line-up of Toronto’s best artists, RAW-NYE gives the artists the opportunity to ring in a new year with the people who love and support our music scene, just as much as they do. Nitin, My Favorite Robot, Richard Brooks, Jonathan Coe, Cosmic JD back-to-back Aaron Santos, Rafwat & Choriny and Amir Nian will be bringing their all to the decks from 9 p.m to 5 a.m on December 31st at Remix Lounge. Interactive Visuals designed by Nu Spaces and Sofia Escobar will paint the walls with creative and appealing visuals to compliment the music. Tickets are only $20 and the space is abundant! No hassle, no stress, no over-complicated planning- just good music, good people and a very good time.
