Toronto Bass Community presents their second installment of their bass series NXT LVL February 6th at Ryze right here in Toronto. It shall be MUST DIE! and Trollphace’s first Toronto appearances with support from our local DJs Hydee, SSDM, DJ Yuichi, and Casler.

Last month, Skrillex played at The Hoxton for the Solaris After Party and dropped his collaborated remix with Trollphace of Yogi’s track Burial. I’m really hoping to hear this track dropped at the NXT LVL event. As well as the track Make it Bounce ft. Harvey J. Both these tracks are really heavy and have that signature grimy sound that has put Trollphace on the map. Although that sound seems to be all Trollphace has, he’s said on Facebook this month that he’s experimenting with new sounds and finishing up some new tracks, so it’s very possible he could drop some unreleased tracks at this event.

Lately I’ve been testing the waters of diversity, and it’s been really fun. DNB, twerk, trap, hybrid death trap, thrasher growler tear out violent shit, deep hau5… cant wait to finish them up!”

As for Must Die!, this tour is in light of his new album release Death & Magic, which has been released on Skrillex’s label OWSLA and is a solid album with a collective theme. Every single track has something different to offer; some heavy, glitchy, trappy, minimal, jungly, and more. If you’re thinking of coming to the show and haven’t heard the album yet, GET ON IT! I’m really hoping to hear Gem Shards, Hellcat, and Project Ghost.
