EVENT PREVIEW: The Last Dance with Sydney Blu @ The Gallery 17-01-15

This Saturday, January 17th, The Guvernment Entertainment Complex welcomes Sydney Blu back to The Gallery, with support form Deko– ze, Evan G, Joee Cons, Jayforce and Ovi M for The Last Dance. With the previous The Last Dance being such a massive success, it is no surprise that Activate decided to bring the event back one more time before The Guvernment closes its doors for good on January 25th. As the final event to be hosted in The Gallery, it only seems right to bring back former resident DJ’s in order to send the room off with a proper goodbye. Unfortunately, tickets for this show are sold out according to a Facebook post by Activate on Monday, January 12th.

If you aren’t yet familiar with Sydney Blu, you should know that this Canadian born force to be reckon with is a Beatport chart- topping sensation with extensive touring under her belt. Sydney is quite well known for her Podcast Blu Radio. Besides having a massive headlining act, the lineup for this event is stacked from top to bottom; specifically Deko– ze who is currently working heavily on his record label Jungle Funk Recordings with Toronto local Jerome Robins.

To those of you who made the call and purchased tickets in advance like myself, we are sure in for a real treat this weekend; those who were at the previous event will tell you the same. However, expect an even bigger sound this time; according to Evan G, Activate is bringing the BEATS AHOY! sound system with them, and was just recently confirmed.
